Meet the team: Management

The Management team is in NZ, always in contact with clients, on the same time zone and the hub of the global Blue South team. A blend of superb linguistic skills and international business experience means that we understand your business requirements and can deliver the translation service that businesses require. Meet the management team:

Michaela Robinson (middle right), Director, holds a Masters Degree in Applied Linguistics and has been working in linguistics for 17 years. She has lived and worked in Germany, Spain, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Indonesia and UK. One of Michaela’s areas of particular expertise is in the field of translation memory software. In addition to her native German, Michaela speaks English, Spanish and has a working knowledge of Indonesian.

Peter Robinson, Director (far right), has 17 years of experience working for international companies around the World in business development roles. He has lived and worked in Germany, UK, Switzerland and Hong Kong, has traveled on business to over 27 different countries and has an excellent understanding of Asian cultures. A native of the UK, Peter is fluent in German.

Caroline Lagrève (middle left), Project Manager, holds a Masters Degree in Translation, Project Management, Multilingual Communications and Multimedia Communications. Caroline has work experience with large translation service providers in UK and Spain and joined Blue South in early 2005. In addition to her native French, Caroline also speaks English, Spanish, German and some Chinese.

Peter Groves (far left), Business Development Manager, has a background in domestic and international FMCG Marketing and Business Development. Having worked in NZ, Eastern Europe and the Middle East, Peter has a strong appreciation of the translation needs of our existing and prospective business clients.

Based in Wanaka, New Zealand, we work nationally and internationally across all sectors of the economy. 98% of our business comes from the main centres within Australasia.
