Meet the Management team

Headquartered in NZ, the Blue South management team serves as the hub of our global network. A blend of superb linguistic skills and international business experience means that we understand your business requirements and can deliver the translation service that businesses require. Meet the management team:

Hayden Barrett, Director, has a background in Electrical Engineering with many years of experience in the engineering industry. He has successfully established, owned and operated several businesses in Christchurch, New Zealand, with a strong emphasis on customer service, and has an excellent understanding of business translation requirements. He has a strong interest in languages.

Nadine Murphy, Project Manager, has a Bachelor of Japanese Language. She has many years of project management experience in the translation industry. Nadine has lived in the United Kingdom and while there, worked in a company that dealt with many foreign nationalities, so has a good knowledge and understanding of the European culture and way of life. In addition to her native English, Nadine understands Japanese and has a working knowledge of other Asian languages.

Kirsten Mander, Project Manager, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Spanish and Political Science. She has lived and studied in Chile and Spain. Kirsten has used her linguistic skills to teach English to foreign students. One of Kirsten’s areas of particular interest is in the field of translation memory software. In addition to her native English, Kirsten speaks fluent Spanish and has a good understanding of other European languages.

From our New Zealand headquarters, we work across all technology sectors with 98% of our business coming from the main centres within Australasia. Working remotely with clients and suppliers around the World is one of our strengths and we have proven track record for this – we are proud that our successful growth was recognised by the New Zealand Deloitte Fast 50 list in 2005 ( rank 31) and again in 2007 (rank 49).
